SIMPLIFY DISJOINT ANALYTICS INFORMATION
Analytics processing within the Intelligence Community (IC) is a labor intensive process involving terabytes of information globally. Often, this information is disjoined and not immediately assessable. Updated information can be delayed in becoming available to the analyst due to a top heavy ingest process. Rules are applied at information ingest time and tightly bound to the data structures that define the information.
THE CLOUD
Cloud Computing is set to revolutionize the way that analytics are gathered and processed. With the cloud, information can be brought together and viewed from a single source. Top heavy ingest is a thing of the past. Information is no longer tied to strict data structure rules. Feeds from any resource, relational, flat file, RSS, XML, etc. can be pushed into the cloud without the need for rules or aggregation. Information of all types can be made available in near real time.
What we do
MissionFocus, founded January 2009, specializes in the usage of the cloud software stack (Hadoop, Hbase, etc) for the advancement of analytics processing within the IC. MissionFocus’ subject matter experts (SMEs) are tapped to work on the latest in cloud technology on a variety of contracts within the IC. MissionFocus services range from enterprise architecture and design, complex data integration, and software development and support. MissionFocus removes barriers from the complex models that surround disparate data. They are instrumental in the adoption of cloud technology for ultra-large scale systems within the IC.
