Melodie Ding is a senior information technology (IT) professional with over ten years of experience.  Flexibility outshines the numerous skills that she has. Ms. Ding has worked on countless projects that span the entire software development life cycle (SDLC). 

Upon joining MissionFocus, Ms. Ding, had limited experience with latest cloud computing technology, and had not worked on any Department of Defense (DOD) projects.  Yes, Ms. Ding was able to quickly change her technical and customer focus to adapt to the new environment.  She is self taught in the Hadoop and Cloudbase technologies.  She strives to become a subject matter expert in the MapReduce distributed programming model. 

Prior to joining MissionFocus, Ms Ding was both a technical lead and software developer on countless J2EE projects for T-Systems USA.  Her primary customer was Volkswagen of America.  She is a Sun certified programmer for the Java2 platform, and has extensive training in SOA technologies.
